John P. White is the primary attorney with White & Associates. John has lived and practiced law in Naples since 1989. His practice is limited to real estate, small business formations, and small estate matters. John has over 45 years of experience as a licensed Florida attorney.
John graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia as an undergraduate in 1969, and later with a law degree in 1972. In 1974, after completing a post college abbreviated tour as an officer in the United States Army Reserve, Mr. White formed White & Weaver, a law firm in Lake Wales, Florida. His representative clients included American Bank & Trust, as general counsel and the City of Lake Wales, as city attorney.
Mr. White has extensive experience in development and construction related matters. In addition to practicing law, John organized, co-owned, and operated Southmark Development Corporation, a Florida based development company. As President, John facilitated the land assemblages, structured the financing, and managed the construction and lease-up/sales activities for seven Florida real estate developments comprising of 1,201 new construction multifamily apartment units, a 350 lot mobile home park/community, and a hotel conversion project.
John is currently licensed to practice law in both Florida and Georgia.
